Strawberry Jam


Sweet fruit and fragrant, strawberries are a delicious dessert,with healing properties extraordinary. Not only that can help in detox diets , but it is a serious source of vitamin C, E, B1, B2, B6 and K.

A simple recipe for strawberry jam:


– 1 kg strawberries
– 1 kg sugar
– juice of half a lemon


1.To make strawberry jam we must first thoroughly wash the strawberries. Then shred the stalks and cut the fruit into smaller pieces, place them in a bowl and pour the sugar over them. The bowlin which they were put,we leave it overnight in the refrigerator.

2.The next day, put the strawberries to boil with all the juice you have left it. Allow them to simmer and occasionally gather the foam that forms on top of the pot.
3.Once the strawberry jam is cooked and dropped half, add the lemon juice and turn off the fire. To verify if the strawberry jam is boiled enough ,with a spoon take some strawberry jam from the pot and place it on plate. If the jam coagulates enough, it means that it’s ready .
