How in the kitchen nothing is wasted, I sought a simple and quick recipe using what I have on hand.
So I made my first vanilla cream. It requires:
-3 egg yolks
-Flour 20g (one tablespoon)
As the milk is on the fire, whip the egg yolks using whisk with sugar until gets creamy. Add the flour and mix to incorporate. Pour hot milk slowly. Put the composition on low heat, stirring and let it boil for 3 minutes until cream thickens.
It can be used as in the photo or for other creams and cakes, volume doubles / triples.
You can use simple powdered sugar and vanilla in the middle of a bar of milk.
